  2. B.A/B.Sc Part-I & II Candidates having failed in one or two papers are required to submit separate examination forms for each Part.
  3. Candidates failed in only one or two subjects are allowed to submit form while those who want to improve marks or to appear in additional subjects or fresh candidates or full failed candidates are not allowed in B.A/B.Sc supplementary examination.
  4. It must be noted that examination centre is allotted on the basis of permanent address as mentioned in the examination admission form. However, the university reserves the right to allot any other Examination Center keeping in view the number of candidates in the area. A candidate who wants to be examined in a place other than permanent address must provide proof of his/her’ own/ parents’ service/ residence certificate with the form duly attested by gazetted officer.
  5. Incomplete forms and forms without the prescribed fee and required documents shall not be entertained unless the candidate has removed the deficiency.
  6. Examination forms and fee submitted only through the following Banks will be acceptable:
    1. Any Allied Bank for credit to A/C No. 0047-01-167-0001-8 maintained at ABL Batkhela Branch code (0047) .
    2. Habib Bank Ltd Chakdara Branch only in A/C No. 02787900060301.

Applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission to Pharm. D professional Class for the academic session 2013-2014.
Eligibility : 

  • The candidate who has obtained at least 60% marks of the total marks in F.Sc. (Pre-medical), F.Sc. (After 60% marks in F.Sc. Pre-medical) or equivalent examination from the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education or Universities in the territorial jurisdiction of the Punjab province, will be eligible to apply for admission. Admission will be made according to the criteria laid own in the prospectus.
  • 2 marks will be deducted from percent academic marks for each late session to a maximum of immediate last two sessions.

Admission on Sports base:
Only those students/candidates are eligible to apply for admission on sports basis who have participated in Sports Trials and their names have been recommended by Sports Based Admission Committee, headed by Director Sports. No other candidate will be considered for admission on sports basis.

The last date for receipt of admission form is 12-10-2013 up to 04:00 p.m.

Hong Kong PhD Scholarship Scheme for international Students in Hong Kong

Research Grant council (RGC) of Hong Kong offering PhD scholarships for international students in Hong Kong.More than 200 PhD Fellowships will be awarded in the 2014/15 academic year.The Fellowship provides an annual stipend of HK$240,000 (approximately US$30,000) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$10,000 (approximately US$1,300) per year to each awardee for a period of up to three years.

BZU announced Food Sciences & Technology Admission 2013.It is BSC (HONS) evening program.





The Department
The Department of Food Science has established state of the art laboratories and food processing hall for a wide range of analytical tests and the production and processing of food products for academic and commercial purposes. The Department has won many research grants from donor agencies like HEC, PSF etc. A conducive academic and research environment prevails in the Department.
The Faculty
Currently, the Department has 05 permanent faculty members, four of whom are PhD degree holders with an extensive teaching and research experience at local and international level alongside a team of highly skilled lab and food processing personnel for practical demonstration. Visiting faculty of the Department comprises experienced teachers both from the University and outside institutions.
Employment Opportunities
Employment opportunities for Food Scientists include positions in the food and allied industries, government agencies,and educational and research institutions. Graduates qualify for supervisory, technical, applied research, sales and executive positions in processing, quality assurance, process development, product development, marketing in food and food-related industries. In addition to a wide array of job opportunities, a Food Science graduate qualifies for being a Food Engineer, Applied Food Researcher, Food microbiologist, Food Safety Specialist, Production Manager, Product Development Scientist, Quality Assurance Managers, Consumer Educator, Nutritionist and Dietitian etc.

  3. H.S.S.C Score:- H.S.S.C Obtained Marks Divided by Total Marks Multiply by 10
  4. Merit Decision will be taken by (N.T.S Score + F.Sc Score + H.S.S.C Sore)
  5. In case of tie N.T.S Score will decide the position.
