SINDH: SINDH AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY TANDOJAM ANNOUNCED HEC NEEDS BASED SCHOLARSHIP For Deserving / Needy Students of Bachelors and Masters Degree Program 201 3-14 Session.

About SAU:

Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam offers Scholarships for needy/ financially disadvantaged students under the Needs Based Scholarship Program of the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The scholarships are being offered for Undergraduate (Bachelors) and Graduate (Masters) Degree Programs. The selection of the students will be made by Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) as per HEC Policy. The scholarships shall cover Tuition Fee, Books, Lodging, Transportation and other Academic Costs.

Who is Eligible?

• All students registered in Graduate (Masters) Degree Program 2013-14 Session
• All students seeking admission to Undergraduate (Bachelors) Degree Program for Session 2013-14.They should be able to compete for securing admission in this university as per admission policy and be enrolled in undergraduate program degree program. 

Application Procedure:

• Incomplete Scholarship Application Form will not be accepted.
• The applicant can obtain the Scholarship Application Form from the Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO), 2nd Floor, Administration Block, SAU Tandojam OR directly download from the www.hec.gov.pk , www.sau.edu.pk
• The duly filled Scholarship Application Form should be submitted to the office of SFAO along with the supporting documents upto 08-02-2014 for Masters degree students and 10-03-2014 for Bachelors degree students during working hours.
• The SAU will review the applications and only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview.

Instruction for filling the Application form:

→ Use CAPITAL letters

→ Leave Spaces between the words

→ Answers of all questions in form are must

→ Check your Application for spelling and grammatical error.

→ Keep a photocopy of completely filled original form for your record.

→ Ensure that you have attached all the required documents by putting a Tick marks on check list

→ Affidavit need to be submit after final selection of Student

→ Send or post your scholarship form to financial Aid officer or focal person

→Place document in right order as per instruction

→ Put all amount in Pak rupees

→ Do consult with parent for financial data accuracy

HEC Scholarship for Balochistan Student 2013

HEC Indigenous Scholarship for Balochistan Student 2013. HEC announced MS /MPhil Leading to PhD Scholarship programme for the students of Balochistan an initiative of Aghaz-e Haqooq-e Balochistan Package.

Applications are invited from Local /Domicile Balochistan for the award of local scholarships for MS /MPhiI leading to PhD / PhD:

• Applicant must possess Domicile Local from Balochistan Province.
• Sixteen (1 6) years education or equivalent degree (Bachelor/Masters).
• Minimum of 45% marks will be allowed while No 3"‘ Division is acceptable.
• Candidates must have secured at least 50 valid Marks (Accumulative Test Score) in Local GAT (general) test conducted by NTS (National Testing Service) in Pakistan.
• At least two Certificates/degrees must have been studied in and obtained from HEC recognized Universities/DAIs located in Balochistan province.
• For Medical disciplines, applicant must provide the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) registration certificate.
• For Engineering Disciplines, applicant must provide the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration certificate.
• Maximum age on October 20, 2013 are...
• 40 years for full time regular faculty members of public sector Universities I Colleges and employees of the public sector R & D Organizations.
• 35 years of age for those who have MS / MPhil (18 years) degree and applying for PhD Programme.
• 30 years of age forlhose who have MAI MSc/ Bachelor (16 years) degree and applying for MS/MPhil leading to PhD.
• Candidates must have acquired the requisite academic qualifications on or before closing date
• Candidates who already hold any others scholarship are not eligible to apply.

Note:

a) All scholarships will be awarded on merit and District quota.
b) Government Employees should apply through proper channel.
c) Scholarship will be offered to those candidates who subsequently secure their admission in MS/MPhil /PhD fulfilling HEC Quality
criteria for MS/MPhil/PhD level studies. (In case Failure HEC reserve the right to withdraw! cancel scholarship).
d) Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of GAT and academic credentials scores.
e) Awardees will also have to execute a bond with the HEC to serve in (Public sector Universities affiliated colleges /Colleges) of
Balochistan Province for a minimum of five years after completion of their study.
f) Candidates already enrolled in PhD or having MS I MPhil degree (1 8 years education) will be preferred.
g) GAT General is required for all applicants in any case.
h) GAT (General) test score is valid for two years from the date of test appearance.
i) Those who do not have valid GAT score are advised to appear in GAT General Test conducted by National Testing Service scheduled
to be held on October O6, 201 3.

• Attested Photocopies of all educational testimonials.
• Attested Photocopy of CNIC, and Domicile.
• Copy of PEC Registration for engineering discipline. (if applicable)
• Copy of PMDC Registration for Medical discipline. (if applicable)
• In-Service (only for Govemment employees) candidates need to apply through proper channel with assurance from their employer that if scholarship ls awarded, they will be released immediately and after completion of the studies, they will serve at parent Department I Universitiesl Colleges. Advance copies will be accepted, however NOC from the organization must be provided before 20th Oct, 2013.
• Original deposit slip/Bank Draft/ ATM Transfer Slip of RS 200/- as application processing fee in favour of Director Finance, HEC can be deposited at Habib Bank limited, on Account Number 17427900133401
