SINDH: SINDH AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY TANDOJAM ANNOUNCED HEC NEEDS BASED SCHOLARSHIP For Deserving / Needy Students of Bachelors and Masters Degree Program 201 3-14 Session.

About SAU:

Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam offers Scholarships for needy/ financially disadvantaged students under the Needs Based Scholarship Program of the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The scholarships are being offered for Undergraduate (Bachelors) and Graduate (Masters) Degree Programs. The selection of the students will be made by Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) as per HEC Policy. The scholarships shall cover Tuition Fee, Books, Lodging, Transportation and other Academic Costs.

Who is Eligible?

• All students registered in Graduate (Masters) Degree Program 2013-14 Session
• All students seeking admission to Undergraduate (Bachelors) Degree Program for Session 2013-14.They should be able to compete for securing admission in this university as per admission policy and be enrolled in undergraduate program degree program. 

Application Procedure:

• Incomplete Scholarship Application Form will not be accepted.
• The applicant can obtain the Scholarship Application Form from the Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO), 2nd Floor, Administration Block, SAU Tandojam OR directly download from the www.hec.gov.pk , www.sau.edu.pk
• The duly filled Scholarship Application Form should be submitted to the office of SFAO along with the supporting documents upto 08-02-2014 for Masters degree students and 10-03-2014 for Bachelors degree students during working hours.
• The SAU will review the applications and only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview.

→ Answers of all questions in form are must

→ Check your Application for spelling and grammatical error.

→ Keep a photocopy of completely filled original form for your record.

→ Ensure that you have attached all the required documents by putting a Tick marks on check list

→ Affidavit need to be submit after final selection of Student

→ Send or post your scholarship form to financial Aid officer or focal person

→Place document in right order as per instruction

→ Put all amount in Pak rupees

→ Do consult with parent for financial data accuracy

GC University Faisalabad offering foreign PHD scholarships

GC University Faisalabad offers 4 foreign Ph.D. scholarships under its Faculty Development Program to academically

outstanding, research—oriented scholars, who desire to improve their academic qualification and to become a part of 

GCUF's Faculty. The Ph.D. Program is fully funded under the project: "Establishment of Govt. College University

Campus on Cost Sharing Bases with Govt. of Punjab".

The applications are invited from the Pakistani Nationals of the following Subjects.

1. Banking & Finance 
2. Electrical Engineering (Specialization in Telecommunication)

Scholarship Attractions

• Scholarships will cover insurance, accommodation, living, books etc. expenses and average (economy) Air return fare

Selection Procedure:

• Only short listed candidates will be called for interview without TA/DA.

Candidates are required to fill in the form and mail at the address given below with a bank draft/postal order of Rs.700/-(non refundable] in favor of Additional Treasurer. 2. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Minimum 16 years ofeducation in the relevant field.
• Minimum CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 in semester system or lst division in annual system from HEC recognized institutions.
• Only one 2nd division prior to the last degree is allowed.
• N0 3rd divisionID~grade in the academic career.
• Maximum age is 35 years, except for people working on regular basis ( including temporary likely to become permanent) in public sector institutions whose maximum age is 40 years. by the closing date of applications.
• Those candidates, who have applied to other HEC scholarship Programs and are awaiting results, may also apply.
• Scholarship will be awarded to candidates in disciplines in which they have earned B.Sc./M.Sc. and for M. Phil degree.
• An awardee will not change the course of studies as specified by the awardee in the application form or in the letter of award.
• An awardee will not hold any other scholarship/stipend during the fellowship period of his/her studies.
• GRE (General)/GAT with minimum 60% scores.
• In-service candidates should apply through proper channel. Advance copies will be entertained. however. the NOC from the organization must be provided on or before the interview.

HEC Scholarship for Pakistani Students in United Kingdom

Commonwealth Scholarships for Pakistani students for (a) Masters (b) Doctoral (c) Split-site study, and (d) Academic Fellowship, tenable in the United Kingdom, 2014

Introduction
HEC invites application from Pakistani/AJK nationals for scholarship program offered by the Commonwealth Commission,
United Kingdom. The scholarships are offered for three types of study programs in UK institutions for all disciplines, commencing from the year 201 4. All awards will be made on the basis of the academic merit, quality of the research proposal, potential of the candidate,and the likely impact of the work on the development of Pakistan.

How to prepare the application package?
Detailed instructions are available in the application form and also uploaded on the website, which must be read thoroughly, before
sending application. Reference letters should be submitted in sealed envelopes. Please attach following documents in your application
package:-

i. Download HEC-Application Form for respective scholarship program from HEC website www.hec.gov.pk/ffsp

ii. Fill online Commonwealth application form (for respective scholarship program) through Electronic Application System (EAS), from bit.ly/cscuk-apply selecting HEC as your nominating agency. Get three {O3} printouts of your online application form (duly filled and signed by the head/vice Chancellor), as described on HEC website. The applications without EAS Application form will not be
entertained.
iii. Attach attested copies of ali the documents, Annexures, and payment receipt of Rs. 500/- (in original) deposited in HEC online

iv. HEC will conduct interviews of potential candidates through the experts at  Higher education Commission  and selected candidates will be nominated to
Commonwealth UK.

final and binding.
vi. Common wealth UK does not accept direct applications. All nominations from Pakistan will be routed via HEC.
